The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, the spectacular family adventure based on C.S Lewis’ timeless classic, is out on DVD and a Special Two Disc Collector’s Edition DVD from Monday, April 3rd – distributed by Buena Vista Home Entertainment UK. Certificate PG.

Experience the exploits of Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter Pevensie, four siblings who find the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of “hide-and-seek” at the country estate of a mysterious professor. Once there, the children discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has been turned into a world of eternal winter by the evil White Witch. Aided by the wise and magnificent lion, Aslan, the children lead Narnia into a spectacular, climactic battle to be free of the Witch’s glacial powers forever!

As well as the full length cinematic feature, the DVD contains Narnia Fun Facts, Director and Kids’ Commentaries, and ‘The Bloopers of Narnia’. The Special Two Disc Collector’s Edition includes all this, plus an additional Bonus Footage disc including an in-depth look into the making of the film with pieces including Chronicles of a Director, Evolution of An Epic, Creating Creatures, Anatomy of a Scene and Cinematic Storytellers – completing almost 10 hours of Bonus Footage.

Starring the talents of Tilda Swinton, Liam Neeson, Ray Winstone, and Jim Broadbent, this epic adventure was the biggest theatrical release of 2005, taking over £43 million at the UK box office alone. From the 3rd April, it can be enjoyed by all the family over and over again on Disney DVD.
