Starring: Paul Kasey, Camille Coduri, Ruari Mears, David Tennant, Billie Piper, £15.99 Tooth & Claw is first up, set back in 1897 Scotland, as the Doctor and Rose must contend with a deadly werewolf, mysterious monks and the suspicions of Queen Victoria. It’s not the strongest of the series, but even so, this is Doctor Who on fine form and very sure footing. School Reunion is superb, though. It brings back two of the Doctor’s previous companions, Sarah-Jane and K-9, and asks some intriguing questions of what happens to his assistants once he leaves them behind. That it also ties in an intriguing story of sinister goings on at an innocent looking school only adds to the achievement. The final episode, The Girl In The Fireplace, is also excellent. This is a staggeringly successful mixture of love story, unnerving baddies and quality science fiction. It’s the episode to date where Tennant has looked surest with the role, and it’s a highlight of an already highly impressive series. So, to summarise, a DVD featuring one good and two superb episodes, with the promise of plenty more tasty episodes later in the series. Can’t be bad.--Simon Brew

What is there to say about Doctor Who?
Either your a fan or your not. You like it or you don't.
Series 2 volume 2 is well worth the money and if you enjoy the Doctor and his adventures then this is a must for your DVD collection.
I'm not here to sell you the product, I'm just telling you what I think from a personal opinion.
I'm not going to give the story line away but if you haven't seen Doctor Who yet or stopped watching after the 80's when the BBC ditched this Great British Institution then you have a lot to catch up on.
The original Doctor Who from the 60's, 70's & 80's, you know, the ones with low budget, poor scenery, etc... etc... is gone. The BBC have had backing from a Canadian company and the productions are big, really big. Doctor Who has finally flown into the 21st Century.
There is a great feature with this new up to date Doctor Who, the greatest old enemies of the Doctor come back for more including all new enemies. The most famous are The Daleks including the Emperor and Davros, The Cybermen and the Sontarans.
The one thing I will giveaway is this: Sarah Jane Smith & K9 (Guest Appearance) during David Tennant's Reign as The Doctor.
the GREATEST episodes of series 2

having found the christmas special and New Earth reasonably enjoyable,i decided that series 1 couldn't be beaten...i was totally wrong...David Tennant is the greatest doctor of them all,and he just kept improving throughout this series.
these are without a doubt the greatest episodes in series 2,and i even prefer these to the finale(Doomsday).
Tooth & Claw-a genuinly rewarding experience,Russel T.Davies has written a mini-horror film,and unlike the movies this werewolf is very scary and artistic to look at...i personally feel that this is the best episode he wrote of series 2 as it combines the humour,stunts and scares needed in an episode of Doctor Who,and Rose isn't all lovy dovy with the Doc in this episode(thank god!!!)but the chemistry is shown...some great scenes here too.
School Reunion-The return of Saah-Jane(who wont appear again until the series 4 finale!!!)which is a great treat for fans...and Anthony Stewart Head(Giles from BTVS) as the main villain of the episode adds to its charm...this is one of my favourite episodes of all time...oh yeah K-9 also reappears,the clashes that Rose and Sarah have between one another is hilarious to watch.
The Girl In The Fireplace-another corker from Stephen Moffat who beats the feel of series 1's Empty Child/Doctor Dances(and doesn't make another whopper like this until series 4's stunning silence in the library/Forest of the Dead)the Clockwork robots are very creepy with their masks and the twisted plot adds to the charm that makes this a great experience.
unfortunately this leads to a dumbed down two parter with the cybermen,and from then on series 2 keeps twisting slowly downhill providing us with un-needed episodes...until Doomsday where it cranks everything back up again.

the first eisode tooth and claw was a brilliant episode with one of the most exiting pre title scenes of the series. the warewolf is very realistic and the whole epiosde is scary. 8.5/10.
school reunion is probally the reason people buy this disk. all though the krillitains aren't the best monsters there sstill entertaining anhony head is creepy. amazing episode with k9 and sarah jane. 9.5/10.
the girl in the fireplace is a very emotianal episode . very enjoyable.
10/10.

David Tennant does a great job of playing Doctor Who, and of the three episodes on this disc, it's 'The Girl in the Fireplace' episode that stands out as a classic, and it's worth getting it for this episode alone. Take an original idea, add a spaceship with some unique 'windows', some clockwork.. (wait and see) and set it in 18th century France, and you have a recipe for an excellent Doctor Who. The other episodes, Tooth & Claw and School Reunion are also very good and make this three episode set highly recommended for fans of the series.
