This follows an F-15 Eagle pilot during his participation in a Red Flag exercise in the USA. This made originally as an IMAX film. Good aerials but needed more of it and showing real manoeuvring not staged stuff (rolling around and around while flying in a straight line may entertain the masses but buffs know this is of no use what so ever in combat). Some glimpses of interesting looking Red Flag tools, e.g. computer graphics showing dogfights in action but again not a meaty treatment.
You get an idea of what Red Flag involves with some nice aerial shots but yet another DVD that fails to give real depth to the subject of air combat. This may be due to the fact that as an IMAX production they had to use an IMAX camera which is the size of a small elephant!. No grainy shots from the onboard gun-camera! At about £8 its worth adding to the collection but dont expect an in depth treatment.
