My son (7) absolutely all the previous Lego games on pc and ps2. He has never watched an indy film but this was the MUST have on his christmas list (and a very reasonable price too). It did take a long time to load onto the computer but luckily I had none of the dreadful bug problems experienced by other reviewers ( i stll have windows XP). I wasn't sure this format would have the level builder or twoplayer option but it does!! (you have to get through most of the game before it teaches you to level build). My son constantly palyed the game all christmas with squeals of delight. He 2 played with his older sisters and then taught them to level build and they play each others levels - great!!! having the level builder adds a whole new dimension and longevity. This is much better than the first indy or the more recent batman which he finished very quickly. highly reccommend.

I purchased this game for my Grandson who is 4. He loves the Lego series of games and has STAR WARS I & II and BATMAN. This, like all the others LEGO games is full of fun. If you download a copy of a "Saved 100% game file" from one of the cheat sites, it will allow you/your child to access to all the levels. I can recommend all of the above LEGO games.

Great game, but it really shouldn't have shipped in the PC version without being de-bugged.
I knew there were problems with this, but my son (8) and I enjoyed the Lego Star Wars so much we thought we'd risk it. And the risk really paid off, but if I wasn't fairly technically competent, we'd never have got past loading the game. TOP TIP: When you get a blank screen on loading (every time you load ...) then CTRL+ALT+DELETE to bring up Task Manager, click on the game in the list and 'Switch To'. Works every time, but why, oh why ...
So, the game itself. Not quite as brilliant as Star Wars, but still has all the charm, fun, excitement, puzzle solving an 8-year old and his (somewhat older) Dad need. Even the girls like this one, little sister (5) loved the Ewoks in Star Wars, no similarly cute characters here, but still entranced by it all.
So, buy it, enjoy it, but just beware.

After such a great game of Lego Star Wars could not wait to get this one. Mine loaded first time but could not use the normal (non xbox 360) controllers that we use for star wars. Googled it and came up with a program called Xpadder. This worked for two players only and even then (as the instructions do not seem for non techi people) only sometimes. Further googling confirmed this. I then persuaded my 7 year old to use the keyboard (not easy) and then the game kept crashing / freezing and not loading. Lego Star Wars BRILLIANT, Lego Indi RUBBISH. What have the game developers done? Good on Amazon though, they agreed to refund with no problems. Will buy it for WII hope thats better.
