Smallville - The Complete Sixth Season
ReviewsSixth Season Review date: 2008-01-17 Rating: 8 out of 10 I have to say that this isn't the best season of Smallville ever. But I'm a huge fan, so I liked it anyway. The best episodes were Zod, Sneeze, and Combat. Though I was a little disappointed that the fight between Zod and Clark was so short. I think it should've spanned two episodes at least. I like the episode Combat because it was the first time Clark actually put up a fight against someone as strong as he was; before he got his butt kicked. Brandon Simpson someone get my agent on the phone!!! Review date: 2008-01-13 Rating: 8 out of 10 I have to say that i have thoroughly enjoyed this season but it is total nonsense. You don't get better escapism than Smallville but some of it is getting a little bit hard to swallow. Even when Lana is trying to be threatening she is totally wet and you just want to give her a good old shake. Bless him, Tom Welling isn't ever going to win an Oscar but he's so pretty that who cares? At one point when you think Lana has popped her clogs Tom almost looks like he might act (someone get the man an asparin!) but thankfully he gets over the impulse and just looks vacant instead. Michael Rosenbaum looks a bit bored and Annette O'Toole has decided it ain't worth sticking around unless she gets to play with one of the Dukes of Hazzard. I suppose that these things seem more evident as Supernatural just seems so much better on a similar theme. The great thing about season 6 was the Justice League, really great slow-mo walking with explosions in the background!!! Really gets the girls going. Thankfully Aquaman gets his kit off too so the freeze frame paid for itself! All in all this show is so entertaining that it's worth the box price just for the laugh. Highly recommended!!!! IT IS ENDING!!! Review date: 2007-12-18 Rating: 10 out of 10 Yes series 7 is going to be the final season, thank the creators that they have ironed out some of that really annoying expo, mostly the Lana, Chloe, Louis love triangle crap and finally got down to the nitty gritty of what makes DC and Superman so great. This season certainly is one to impress though the opening episode "Zod" is a little short lived but at least he got to say the immortal line of good old Terrance Stamp from the movie "Kneel before Zod!" Excellent appearences by The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and Green Arrow. Green Arrow is in a few episodes making out to be a very cool character and the season finale is just awesome the DC universe has been explored in this one season alone with reference to Gotham City, the justice league minus Green Lantern, Batman and WOnder woman but there is time enough for that. A great season. best season? no Review date: 2007-12-02 Rating: 6 out of 10 For me,this was not the best season by far. The whole Clark/Lana love affair was stretched out. I prefered it when she was posessed by that french witch and really did something (instead of hanging out in a mansion with extreme paranoi). I loved every series up until this one. Either i've got bored of Smallville, or Smallville's writers just got bored....
