I like Xena, I like games, so what could be better than a combination? At least this is what I thought when buying it. If you kinda liked the PS1-Xena and thought it could still be improved - steer clear! This one is not worth a tenner, not even 1 quid to be honest and way, way worse than the older game. It looks like what a graduate of a game developing school might have come up with, if he did not have a team to work with but patch this thing together all on his own. Not worth the money and even less the time you would spend on it checking it out.

The graphics are bland, the collision rate is abysmal. My character failed to hit switches all the time, fell through supposedly solid ground, there are all kinds of glitches and bugs, opponents are less intelligent than they used to be in the good old Atari times some twenty years ago... I am generally not that into high-end stuff, for me story matters a lot more than presentation and functionality, but this one really has nothing to go for it whatsoever.

If you want to play a Xena game, better forget about it, or go for the PS1-title and you will have more fun than you could ever have playing this.
