I notice the review below me ummed and ahhed over giving this film four stars. Hey -- Robert Zemeckis AND Walter Hill team up to make a movie with Bill Paxton and Ice T in it ...
It's not a classic, but it IS a decent film that I enjoyed enormously. Honestly, it's good fun and worth a viewing.

Being a massive Bill Paxton fan It's good to see this movie finally spring to dvd,I'm not suprised it's got no extras but just having this compared to my dying vhs copy is extra enough. Could i have given the film 4 stars??? Well,Paxton and Sadler are good together and Ice-T and Ice Cube pose a real threat but the story is piss-ass thin, but that's not what your looking for in a movie like this is it so 3 stars is pretty fitting. Now if only they could release Paxton's The Vagrent on dvd.

This movie was a pleseant surprise to watch. A great cast for such a small film, and good action segments.
Definitly a movie that will stay in your memory as just a plain piece of great fun!

Arkansas fireman Bill Paxton and William Sadler look for hidden gold in an abandoned warehouse. They accidentally witness the murder of a gang member and are seen, forcing them to retreat to a secure room with the gang leader's (Ice T) brother as a hostage.
Great fun to watch, Paxton and Sadler are excellent is this is all round quality entertainment.
Die Hard with Gangsters

This is just plain fun to watch. There's a sustained tension throughout, as each possibility for escape is methodically exhausted. Ingenious, but not clever. Stereotypical, yet unpredictable.
