Mildly interesting demon hunting...

I was slightly disappointed by Vampire Princess Miyu volume 2. I was enthralled by the first three episodes and so felt compelled to buy this DVD but what I found was that these four episodes were more of the same AND the English voice acting in the dubbed version is painful to listen to. Though I did enjoy watching the four episodes (especially episode 6 - "Ghost of Miyu" which I thought was the best episode that I have seen so far) I felt that more effort could have been made to make the series different. All that is new is the introduction of Reiha, an ice demon who also wants to be a Guardian like Miyu and does not care about hurting humans who get in her way. Every episode, Miyu still hunts and destroys a Shinma and even Reiha's 'assistance' makes very little variation in the plots. And Larva doesn't remove his mask once on this disk. Bishounen lovers of the world weep!

If you enjoyed the first volume, you may enjoy these episodes. I did, but don't say I didn't warn you if they disappoint you. My tip, if you want quality demon hunting buy Hellsing instead.
