More of the same - no bad thing?

This game is pretty much SFC as it should have been originally. There are a few new items to keep you interested (a new slant on "X" ships for those who know the board game, including Heavy Photons, Heavy Phasers etc, new capaigns, the chance to play pirates etc), but essentially it is the same game - no bad thing. The only problem I have with this (and stopping it gettting a 5-star award) is that the new items do not seem to have been tested properly. There are a number of bugs in the game in some of the new missions (the wreckage of the freigher scenario is the one of the most common), something that should have been easily trapped, as the underlying engine has not changed.... It seems as if this was rushed out to make as much money as possible before the game engine is too dated to use any more.

In summary, if you liked SFC2, you will like this. The new items add to the game, but there are too many annoying bugs (though they do not stop you from playing the game)for it to reach it's true potential
