It also gives you a good blues lesson, telling the story of blues before and after Robert Johnson. He tells the story with the aid of a little romance as he describes the feeling of first seeing the Robert Johnson album, buying it and taking it home for the first time. He gives all the available evidence on Robert Johnson without taking away any of the mystery, leaving you with the idea that maybe he really did sell his soul and that the myths might be true.
