As a shock second announcement followed, the sucesor to David (brother of Pet Shop Boys Neil) Tennent was announced. This in itself is odd as we had to wait until the end of the first series to find out that David was to replace the original revised Doctor Who Christopher Ecclescake.

We can announce that the man that will replace David Tennent as the Doctor will be 90's band member Richard Fairbrass
. This will not be Richards big TV comeback though. Before we see him on the screen again as the Doctor Richard will appear in the 13 part ITV drama "Cleaner Close" Based on the DAZ TV Adverts.
