Doctor Who actor David Tennent has announced that this will be his final series as the Doctor in BBC TVs revised Doctor Who TV series.

This was confirmed today (1/4/07) by a BBC spokes person.

As a shock second announcement followed, the sucesor to David (brother of Pet Shop Boys Neil) Tennent was announced. This in itself is odd as we had to wait until the end of the first series to find out that David was to replace the original revised Doctor Who Christopher Ecclescake.

We can announce that the man that will replace David Tennent as the Doctor will be 90's band member Richard Fairbrass

The "Doctor Who Up-Close" exhibition will be at Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester from the 1st March 2007 to the 5th November 2007 and seeks "Special Exhibition Assistants"

The exhibition will feature items from the 3 newest series of the top BBC 1 tv show Doctor Who.

Well firstly I have caught up this week, whilst on holiday I missed two of the best episodes The Impossible Planet (Read Review) and The Satan Pit (Read Review) boy I missed out! They were absolutly fantastic. Thanks Sky Plus for keeping telly at my control.

Secondly I made a discovery yesterday. I was looking for some podcasts to download so that I could listen to them on the train and I came across the BBC's commentary podcasts for episodes for the new series of Doctor Who, I am horrified that I hadn't found these before, they are absolutly fantastic. Now I know that the Doctor's 3d Glasses will find a use in the final episode of series 2 of Doctor Who (amongst other things).

Sorry - still recovering from the twist at the end of Dr Who Army Of Ghosts, WOW. Daleks and Cybermen together in one story. Along with a secret society (Torchwood) and Jackie Tyler (well you cannot have everything).

Oops to all as I haven't posted the last two reviews in the main site Scifind.co.uk I have these now (thanks Paul) and will get these online asap.

Just to let you knoe there is some fantastic Dalek / Cyberman toys and other collectables at Forbidden Planet check it out and fill your boots. Pity it isn't Christmas yet as I have a big list of wants.

Another good episode of Dr Who - even if 10th Doctor did go all cheesy and light the Olympic Flame.
Nice reserved use of CGI.
The preview for next weeks episode looked great. Even if the Cybermen used arn't real Cybermen but alternate dimension Cybermen (Just something that niggles me)
